Using Intuit Credit Karma is straightforward and user-friendly. To get started, users need to create an account by providing some basic personal information, including their name, email address, and Social Security number. Once the account is set up, users can access their credit scores and reports instantly. The platform will guide users through the process of understanding their credit information and how it impacts their financial health.
After logging in, users can explore various features, such as personalized recommendations for credit cards and loans. They can also set up alerts to notify them of any significant changes in their credit scores. Intuit Credit Karma comes with several advantages that make it a popular choice among users. One of the most significant pros is that it offers free access to credit scores and reports, which is a valuable resource for anyone looking to manage their credit health. The app's personalized recommendations for financial products can help users find the best options tailored to their needs. Additionally, the budgeting tools and educational resources empower users to make informed financial decisions.
However, there are some drawbacks to consider. While Credit Karma provides a wealth of information, the accuracy of the credit scores may vary compared to those from lenders. Some users may also find the ads for financial products intrusive, as they can be frequent and prominent. Furthermore, the app may not cover all credit bureaus, which could limit the comprehensiveness of the credit information provided. Overall, while Intuit Credit Karma offers valuable features, users should be aware of its limitations when relying on the app for their financial management.

Credit Karma has a lot of good aspects, but stopped updating my credit scores back in September. I get a message every time I open the app that says my score can't be updated and I'm seeing old information. If you can't even get your updated score it's not very useful. Especially because all the offers they give you are based off the numbers shown on their app. Edit: the app has not updated for TransUnion since September, it is mid January. That is not a month behind. It is failing.

This app helped me start off my credit, and has been helpful in many ways. however, they do not vet which credit cards they recommend. If it ever offers you an opensky credit card of any kind, do not apply for it! I never received the card, but received mail saying there was a monthly $2 fee for it, even though it wasn't activated. Opensky has no customer service options other than to mail something, and Credit Karma can't get in contact with them, either. It's been very frustrating.

I downloaded Credit Karma years ago when my credit was a super low 524. It helped me quickly. They suggested a prepaid credit card which I used it for just one bill every month and set it to auto-pay the full balance. Now, years later, I've bought a house and have credit cards with $11,000 limits! My score is 741, and it was even as high as 801 before. Credit Karma really works and it doesn't take long to get above 600 and start fixing past credit mistakes (a few months).

it's not the app, it's the customer support. I've never dealt with a company that had a customer support group that for 1, is entirely too difficult to connect with. for 2, they are not properly trained and it shows. You hold my money, so I expect you to be knowledgeable and professional. Credit Karma is NOT. terminating my accounts ASAP

My credit score doesn't change. I had an account close, bought a new car, had my old car account close, paid off multiple credit cards and it never changes. Its been like this for like 6 months now. When my credit was pulled for my new car it was 50 point higher then what it shows. It keeps telling my about all the things I've done but nothing changes and I find that hard to believe. I know its not going to be 100% accurate but I dont feel like its accurate at all anymore.
