For an app "designed to be deleted," I don't seem to have a whole lot of reasons to do so besides the fact that it doesn't work. A year in of using it, I've gotten 1 single match with someone who didn't even converse with me. Tried using Hinge+, and somehow got 0 matches total. I've used Hinge Platinum a long time ago, but paying $50 a month is steep. This app is either free, and it sometimes works, or it's not free at all.
My experience on this app thus far has been mediocre, not too bad or good, but my main issue is the fact that they just changed how the standouts feature works without saying anything. You used to be able to browse standouts at your leisure, but now you get one look at the list and then can't see them anymore. I just casually looked through my list without sending any likes or roses and was abruptly told that I have to wait 14 more hours to see standouts again.
I've easily spent $200+ on this app and I have gotten 0. Z.E.R.O. Likes or matches. like, you'd think Id at least get one or two, but no. I'm verified, I have four or five pictures, my profile is completely filled out with engaged answers and descriptions and I'm at least a 6 on the looks department, so I don't think it's that.. on other apps I still get matches even if they don't end up going anywhere. But here? absolutely barren.. save your money.
My account was abruptly canceled, for no reason. I have absolutely no idea what possible terms of service I could have violated. When I researched this, this appears to have happened to hundreds of other users. I appealed this but their (automated) decision stands. Come on guys! At least give me some information about what you think I did. This is awfully arbitrary.
Eh, its OK. I have gone on way too many tinder dates in my younger years and figured Id try this out for something more meaningful. Paid for their top level membership and it seems as though even when you do that, they single out all of the good profiles, put them in a separate category and want you to pay for each individual like via buying a rose for an additional cost. No thank you, Ill just meet people the old fashioned way by walking up and saying hi.
