Update Evgo app doesn't allow you to stop the charge from your phone. The touch screen malfunctions at various locations but cx svc picks up quickyand getd me on my way. Both ChaDemos on the West side are infamous for having to call customer service to stop charging. Evgo chargers cost more up front than other stations and are slower. I often have to plug in and disconnect then try again because it couldn't connect the first time.

The chargers only work 30% of the time and if you contact customer support they're completely unhelpful. they can't answer simple questions in a timely fashion that should be available in the app. The app tells you your charging credits can expire but it won't tell you when. If you contact customer support they can't tell you either. If I didn't receive charging credits for evgo when I bought my car I wouldn't use their chargers. completely unreliable, about on par with Electrify America.

maybe not the cheapest but it's hella reliable and the hold is only $5 if you go through the app otherwise it's $55 every time and they hold it for like 3 to 5 business days each charge. call Luke driver so I was doing this multiple times a day at one point I had $200 in held funds. but if you go through the app it's only a $5 hold if you charge a lot the plus Max plan is actually a very good deal and pays for itself and basically one or two charges, usually one for me.

App is slow and clunky, does not accurately display chargers available/in use. Prices have gone up and the peak pricing is ridiculous, there are much cheaper options. I can't even see the screens on the physical charger, have to use the app to see my progress and it takes awhile to load even on strong 5g.

Only one car charging when I arrived. I plugged into Lakota. It said my car was not plugged in and to connect the cable to my car. I stopped the session and replugged the car. same thing. several morre attemps. I moved over to the next charger. it said it was offline. I went to the last charger. It said it was last used 45 minutes before me. It worked. Seems to be charging fast enough.
