"Peace, Death!" is a unique simulation game that combines humor with a dark theme, allowing players to take on the role of a reaper. One of its standout features is the engaging gameplay that requires players to manage the souls of the deceased while adhering to specific guidelines. Players must distinguish between souls that should be sent to heaven and those destined for hell, adding a layer of strategy to the game.
The game also boasts a charming art style, characterized by colorful graphics and quirky character designs that enhance the overall experience. Additionally, "Peace, Death!" includes a variety of upgrades and unlockable content, allowing players to customize their reaper and improve their efficiency in managing souls. The game features a humorous narrative that keeps players entertained, with witty dialogues and unexpected twists. Furthermore, the inclusion of various challenges and achievements encourages replayability, making it a captivating experience for both casual and dedicated gamers.
As players progress, they will encounter various types of souls, each with unique characteristics. It is crucial to pay attention to the details provided for each soul, as making the wrong choice can lead to penalties. Players can also earn coins by successfully guiding souls, which can be used to purchase upgrades and new abilities. Regularly checking the upgrade menu is important to enhance the reaper's skills and efficiency. Overall, the game encourages strategic thinking and quick decision-making, making it an engaging experience for players of all skill levels.
Like any game, "Peace, Death!" has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the primary pros is its unique concept, which blends humor with a dark theme, making it stand out in the simulation genre. The engaging gameplay mechanics and the need for strategic decision-making keep players invested and entertained. Additionally, the charming graphics and quirky character designs contribute to a delightful gaming experience. The game also offers a variety of challenges and achievements, enhancing replayability and encouraging players to improve their skills.
On the downside, some players may find the gameplay repetitive over time, as the core mechanics remain consistent throughout. Additionally, the learning curve can be steep for newcomers, especially when trying to remember the specific requirements for each soul. Some users have also reported occasional bugs or glitches that can disrupt gameplay. Lastly, while the humor is a significant draw, it may not appeal to everyone, particularly those who prefer more serious themes in their gaming experience. Overall, "Peace, Death!" offers a fun and engaging experience, but it may not be for everyone.

Fun, with understandable mechanics yet does a lot within the simple system. Only issues are how confusing the UI is at the start with no guidance, you're kind of just clicking on objects until you figure out what does what and why. Also some of the mechanics later on are not well explained, like the silhouette thing for example. Other than that its a solid game if you're bored and need to waste some time.

Very fun game! Similar to Papers, Please, but I found it more enjoyable. I wish it had more detailed explanations sometimes. Doesn't really explain much what the "influence" does. It asks you if you want to work for the other guys, but the only guidance is "You work for death, the others are his competition". So, should I not take those jobs? Other than that, the basic mechanic of this game is very solid.

When i first purchased the game and started playing it was fun. Soon after i got a few levels in the game would randomly freeze and wouldn't respond to anything. I'd have to restart the game loosing my progress on the level as well as any money i spent and any mission i was on. This makes the game very frustrating to play and the reason I'm giving it such a low score.

Tons of fun, no ads, no micro transactions (only purchasable dlc), the writing is clever and the levels are increasingly challenging. The speed at which the difficulty increases is perfect too. I got hooked the first time I tried it and couldn't stop playing to go to sleep for work 😅 I'm still a little confused at the scoring system for the four horsemen and what the goal is there, you don't get detailed instructions at the start but there is a guide in options menu.

Fun game when you continually play it, but difficult to remember some elements of when you're idle for quite some time. User interface can be extremely confusing and often doesn't make much sense; there's little introduction to the core principles of the game. Great for brief game play sessions and forgiving in that you get unlimited attempts on each level. Would recommend buying on a sale, but by personal opinion, not worth full listed price.
